I welcome all who visit the web site whether you are a member of the College community or a new visitor. Saint Scholastica's has been here on its present site for over a hundred years delivering excellence in education to young women. At the heart of our enterprise are our values: compassion, justice, wisdom, learning, harmony, balance, hospitality and stewardship. Our central values of compassion and justice are inspired by the parable of the Good Samaritan in the Gospel (Luke 10: 25-37).
We seek to create a world where learning is an everyday occurrence; a world that is welcoming to all regardless of race or colour; a world where care for the earth is a sustainable aspect of human existence; where individuals are able to develop a balance in their lives so they are not driven by materialism alone and where above all compassion and justice are integrated into everything we do. Thus our students will become young women who will make a positive difference in the world.
While the virtual world captures much of the atmosphere and ethos of Saint Scholastica’s and your exploration will give you much valuable information about the curriculum and extra curricular activities, to truly experience the school come along and visit the campus on our annual Open Day held in March each year.
Welcome - and enjoy!
